You don’t need a full routine — just a few smart habits. Here’s how I keep my own wallets looking fresh:

• Keep it out of direct sunlight or humid areas like bathroom counters. Leather is skin, and it reacts to the environment.
  
• Wipe it down occasionally with a soft, barely damp cloth.
  
• Every few months, condition it with a leather-safe balm or cream. It takes 5 minutes and keeps the leather soft instead of cracking.
  
• Don’t overstuff it. I know it’s tempting, but shoving 11 cards into a 5-card slot can stretch and warp the shape.
  
• When you’re not using it (especially for seasonal styles), store it with tissue inside to help it hold its form.
